Pre-orders
When will my pre-order ship?
All pre-orders of the No. 13 — Standard Hoodie ship Fall 2026. You'll get a tracking email the moment it leaves our facility.
When am I charged?
Your card is charged at checkout, not when the item ships. This is how we reserve the inventory spot for you in the 500-unit run.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes. Anytime before the pre-order ships, email us and we'll issue a full refund. No questions, no restocking fee.
Can I change my size after ordering?
If the size you want is still available, yes. Email us with your order number and we'll swap it.
The Product
How bright is the glow?
Street-visible from roughly 500 feet at night. Subtle but unmistakable in daylight. The VynEL panel pulls a small amount of energy (around 110mA @5V), so it's noticeable without blinding.
Is it waterproof?
The Standard Hoodie is a technical fabric, and can be used year round. Keep in mind it will absorb moisture like a normal hoodie, but it does keep warmer while providing a beathable knit. The light system is splash-resistant and washable. Make sure to not submerge the battery.
How long does the battery last?
This system is BYOB, meaning you bring your own power bank battery to it. You could expect 8 to 12 hours on a common 2000mAh power bank, or double with a 4000mAh battery.
Can I replace the battery?
Yes. Standard USB-C power bank batteries fit the pocket. You choose the size based on desired runtime.
What if the light system breaks?
One-year warranty on the lighting components and electronics. Send us a quick image or video of the issue and we can arrange a replacement.
What technology does the light system use?
The hoodie uses specialtyVynEL Wear panels — flexible electroluminescent technology engineered by Ellumiglow. Future pieces will also feature SewGlo sewable EL thread for integrated patterns. Read more on the technology page.
Care & Maintenance
Can I machine-wash the hoodie?
Yes — the shell is fully machine-washable AFTER you remove the battery. The lighting system can actually be laundered as-is. Slide out the battery, then wash cold inside out on gentle cycle. Hang Dry.
How do I clean the light system?
Wipe the VynEL panel with a soft damp cloth. Isopropryl Alcohol is OK to be used sparingly on the surface to remove dust or debris that won't come off with water. Never submerge the battery. The controller is sealed and may only need an occasional dust-off.
Can I iron it?
Iron only the shell, and never over the light channel. Low heat recommended.

Currently US shipping only. International orders are on the roadmap for late 2026. Email us to get on the international waitlist.
