We build illuminated apparel to be worn. Hard. Everywhere. If something we made doesn't hold up, we fix it. Here's how.
01 — The 30-Day Window
You have 30 days from delivery to send a piece back for a refund or exchange. No interrogation. No restocking games.
To come back to us, the piece needs to be:
- Unworn, unwashed, undamaged. No stains, no scents, no stage sweat.
- Complete. Tags, packaging, battery pack, driver, cables, every accessory it shipped with.
- Traceable. Order number or receipt.
Custom builds, made-to-order pieces, and final-sale drops stay with you unless they arrive defective.
02 — The 1-Year Warranty
Every P13 piece is covered for one full year from purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. If the light fails and it's on us, we make it right.
Covered:
- EL panel failure under normal wear.
- Driver, inverter, and internal wiring defects.
- Stitching, bonding, and connector failures that aren't from misuse.
Not covered:
- Damage from ignoring the care label. Read it. Follow it.
- Cuts, tears, burns, crushes, or anything a mosh pit did.
- Water damage to battery packs or drivers.
- Normal fade and wear — the honest patina of a piece that's been lived in.
- Any modification or repair we didn't authorize.
03 — Starting a Return or Claim
- Email info@p13designs.com with your order number and a quick description.
- Warranty claim? Send photos or a short video of the issue. The more we see, the faster we move.
- We reply within 2 business days with instructions and an RMA number if you're approved.
Don't ship anything back without an RMA. Unauthorized returns slow everyone down.
04 — Shipping
- Standard returns: you cover return shipping.
- Defective, damaged, or wrong item: we cover it. Prepaid label in your inbox.
- Warranty repair or replacement: we cover shipping both ways inside the continental US. International riders cover outbound and any customs.
05 — Refunds
Once your return lands and passes inspection, we email you. Approved refunds hit your original payment method in 5–10 business days. Your bank may take a little longer to post it.
06 — Exchanges
Fastest path: return the original for a refund and place a fresh order for the piece you actually want. Not sure about size or style? Ask first. We'd rather help you pick than ship the wrong thing twice.
07 — Damaged in Transit
If the box shows up rough, tell us within 7 days of delivery. Send photos of the packaging and the piece. We replace it. No charge.
The Short Version
30 days to return. 1 year on the build. Light that's meant to last.

This policy is offered by Parallel 13, LLC and applies to purchases made directly through p13designs.com. It does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
