Illuminated Apparel
Lit apparel used to be a novelty. Stiff wires, noisy power supplies, cheesy designs, jackets that died after one night out. That era is over.
What you're looking at now is the result of a decade of quiet engineering. Flexible VynEL panels that bend, stretch, and twist with your body. Cold-glow fabrics that wash like a normal tee. Micro-drivers the size of a matchbook that run all night on a pocket battery. Solder-free connectors that survive the mosh pit, the dance floor, and the ride home.
The manufacturing side caught up too. We're cutting, bonding, and sewing illuminated textiles on the same lines that produce premium streetwear, which means the fit, the drape, and the finish feel like real clothes, not a costume. Every piece in this collection is built to be worn hard: festivals, sets, shoots, nightlife, stage. Wear it, wash it, charge it, repeat.
If you've been waiting for the right moment to light yourself up, you are standing in it. Pick something. Plug in. Glow louder.
What Is Illuminated Apparel?
Illuminated apparel is clothing engineered with integrated lighting technology built directly into the garment. Unlike reflective gear or battery-heavy light-up costumes, Parallel 13's illuminated apparel uses electroluminescent (EL) panels and sewable EL thread that are thin, flexible, washable, and designed for everyday wear. The light source lives inside the fabric — not clipped onto it.
Every piece in this collection is built on technology developed by Ellumiglow, a specialty lighting manufacturer focused on EL and LED systems. That means the same materials used in professional lighting applications are now stitched into clothing you actually want to wear — to games, concerts, events, or just out.
Whether you're a consumer looking for something to wear to your next event, or a brand looking to add illuminated apparel to your product line, this is the starting point.
